Travel & Lodging Travel College Station has an airport with several daily connections via Houston and Dallas. Moreover, College Station is a 1.5 hour drive from Houston's Bush International Airport and a 2 hour drive from Austin's airport. A limited ground shuttle service is available from Houston's airport. Other hotels within a short driving distance from the Blocker Building include: Best Western Inn Days Inn Hilton Holiday Inn Express Quality Suites Dormitory Rooms Dormitory rooms are available for persons who prefer them. Each has two twin beds per room and a private bath, and can house either one or two persons. The rates are $25 per person per night for one person in a room and $16 per person per night for shared rooms. Guests may want to bring a mattress pad for comfort, an extra blanket, an alarm clock, etc. Sheets, towels a pillow and soap will be provided.
